Thinking is Creating

"Thinking is Creating" is a quote from my youngest son. He is 18, soon to be 19, but seems to have the wisdom of someone nearly 5 times his age. My son's name is Trenton and needless to say he is awesome! Trenton has an incredibly creative mind and thinks in whole philosophical terms. "Thinking is Creating." I have thought of that statement many times since I first read it on his myspace. I am embarrassed to admit, it did not make a whole lot of sense to me at first... but then the more I 'thought' about it, the more I realized it was true. Thinking creates imagination... or maybe it takes the imagination to think creatively. I am not sure. I do know however, that thinking, visualizing inside your mind, or whatever term you choose to use... is almost always the first step in the creative process. So Trent, thanks for making me think... which made me create! It is about time I started that process in my life again!
